Pastor Tinu Asegieme is a woman who genuinely loves people—and has spent much of her life helping them become better versions of themselves.
An author, speaker, mentor, relationship and family-life teacher, Pastor Tinu has devoted over three decades to ministry, nurturing women, strengthening marriages, guiding singles, supporting parents and helping families flourish. At the heart of everything she does is a simple conviction: when people are equipped with truth, wisdom and the right support, they can build lives and relationships that thrive.
Her approach is warm, practical and refreshingly real. Whether she is speaking from a conference stage, sitting across from a couple preparing for marriage, mentoring a woman through a new season of life, or having one of those honest conversations that makes you rethink everything, Pastor Tinu has a way of making biblical truth applicable to everyday life.
Her Heart for Women
In 2022, she founded Living Your God Colours, a community created to encourage women to discover who God has made them to be and to live authentically, visibly and purposefully.
Through weekly conversations, conferences, mentoring, retreats and special gatherings, LYGC creates room for women to talk honestly about faith, purpose, marriage, parenting, relationships, identity and the realities of navigating life in today's world.
For Pastor Tinu, it isn't simply about inspiring women.
It is about helping them flourish.
Her Heart for Relationships & Family
Relationships have remained one of the strongest threads running through Pastor Tinu's life's work.
Alongside her husband, Rev. Ken Asegieme, she has spent years teaching singles and married couples about building relationships on strong foundations. Her desire is to help people go beyond preparing for beautiful weddings to preparing for healthy marriages—and to help existing marriages remain loving, intentional and resilient through changing seasons.
This passion continues through premarital preparation, marriage enrichment, family-life teaching, parenting conversations and mentoring.
Author of UNVEILED
Pastor Tinu is also the author of UNVEILED, a devotional that journeys through the lives and legacies of women in the Bible.
Through their victories, mistakes, courage, waiting seasons, relationships and encounters with God, UNVEILED invites today's woman to see that these women were more than names in Scripture—their lives still have something to teach us.
The book has also grown into a wider conversation around womanhood, faith, identity and purpose.
Beyond the Platform…
There is also another side to Pastor Tinu.
She is a wife, a mother, a friend, a nurturer and someone who deeply values relationships. She is married to Rev. Ken Asegieme, and together they are blessed with two daughters, Jemima and Shekina.
Those closest to her know that ministry for Pastor Tinu does not end when the microphone is switched off. She checks in. She follows up. She prays. She encourages. She sometimes calls repeatedly until she gets the response she is looking for! 😊
That personal investment in people is perhaps one of the clearest expressions of who she is.
